It's from Black Projects, White Knights. Includes several Mendoza, one or two Joseph, and quite a few Alec Checkerfield, whom I've only read about in this volume. Are there more than the four novels out there? I've only seen this collection at my local library, though.

And yeah. I really like her way with words.
