First of all, I'm thankful for patience with slow people like me. It's still Thanksgiving if there's still pie, right?

This has been such an amazing year that I don't know where to begin. I have a wonderful family who are crazy in all the right ways, now with extra brother-in-law. (And extra sarcasm!) I even got to see many of them this summer in fantastic circumstances. I'm thankful for the crazy pills that New York still seems to have in its water, and for the luck that hasn't yet run out. For the extra time in the mornings when I can write, and the evenings when I can choose to write or veg and often do both. For the job that I like, and the brainspace to step away from it when I don't like it. For happy T drivers. For friends who convince me to try new things (yuletide story in the works!), who share fantastic stories and teachings and open up new worlds every day.

And I'm thankful for esqgirl and osmos, who opened their home to us for a lovely Thanksgiving meal and excellent company and tasty, tasty food.

Most of all, I'm thankful for thomascantor. The world is so much better with him in it. And not just because he makes me pie.
