We have no date set, no plans set, and nothing really determined except that there will be no Elvises at the wedding. This means you, wavyarms. But we're getting married.

Indeed it is. I'd heard also that you were married at Methuen Memorial Music Hall? It isn't currently part of our plans, but if it's true that you did, 'tis very awesome!

it was fantastic, and i adore the recording we have of the organ being played for the ceremony... especially the piece that eric arranged for organ for our processional :)
it's a lovely place, and being a hall that exists solely for the sake of music, it seemed the perfect place for us to get married...

Beautiful! Unsuprisingly, I know who the organist is (we've only ever talked on the phone, though).

Wow, I'm impressed that he wrote your own processional. It must have been quite a show. The place is indeed wonderful, and the instrument (half of which is the hall itself).

yeah, i don't imagine the organ-playing world of boston is that huge... he was the guy who conducted the orchestra that eric and i met playing in, so we thought it was particularly apropos.

he didn't actually write it, he arranged it... but it was an undertaking, since he transcribed it from CD and it's pretty densely orchestrated (it's the processional "atmadja" from the cirque du soleil show "quidam").
