So after months of procrastinating, and working on "important" stuff, and doing "productive" work, and using "superfluous" quotation marks, here it is at last:

Dwarf and Ninja!

This is so shoddy it doesn't even qualify as a webcomic, I think. The humor's occasionally on, usually iffy, and the artwork's pretty lousy (in blurry pencil, then scanned in and poorly Photoshopped), but damn, has this been fun to make.

The comic springs from an incident in [livejournal.com profile] sigerson's game; the incident itself isn't important, only that the phrase "Dwarf and Ninja!" entered our consciousness. Someone -- I think it was [livejournal.com profile] anacrucis -- said that it sounded like a webcomic. A few months later, I was doodling during game, and . . . well . . . this resulted.

The humor is very heavily gamer-oriented, so not all the jokes are accessible. But I've used up my quota of apologies for the day, so I won't say I'm sorry.

Hope y'all like it.

You were far too self-deprecating in your description! I think the art is better called "rudimentary" or something other than "bad". :) I laughed out loud in several places. Luckily, for a change, the kids didn't ask what was funny... I think they are still a little young for explanations of the intricacies of gaming - especially the meta aspects!

Kudos to [livejournal.com profile] 2h2o for spreading the word, though I suppose he should've asked first. Still, since the response is so positive, you really shouldn't complain!
