Until now, I never knew snakes were spring-loaded. Thanks, Samuel L. Jackson!

(We saw it tonight at the Mendon Drive-In. Perfect way to see a movie like this. We could talk all the way through it (or add our own dialogue) and no one else heard.)

One of the people exiting the previous showing gave us a bunch of cardboard snake cutouts, which we gleefully waved around every time a snake did something.

We waved Irving, our plaid fleece snake. Irving seemed happy to be used so.

Hee! Sounds like you did it just about right, although I question the wisdom of seeing the film in a way that didn't let you hear the cheers and shrieks of the rest of the audience. I think we're going to see it again when it comes to Chunky's next week :)

Yes, but if you yell too loudly, the idiot manager of your local theatre will call the cops, stop the film 15 minutes early, and order everyone to leave.

(Happened to friends of mine here in C'ville)

Wow. I can't put together logic warped enough to explain that.

They're not too happy about it, needless to say.

What movie did they think they were screening--Sloths on a Swingset?

(C'ville? Where's that?)

The poor manager obviously thought he had a riot in progress.

Of course, I've never seen anyone older than 17 working in that theater. I have to wonder just how old the manager is.

(Central Virginia.)

The hell? That's one dumb manager.

It was a small audience, so the ambient shrieks probably would have been less fun than a full theater.

Yay!
