squeequegSitting in front of me is the scrawled-upon version of a story that needs revision and has needed revision for a long time.
Not the story my writers' group critted yesterday. The story they critted two months ago.

Date: 2006-01-24 01:11 pm (UTC)The Tang had a delayed effect; I only now think I have a handle on this revision. Scrawling on it at work might help.
I hate discovering that one of my characters is only following the script. It always means I have to come up with some reason for them to do it, and then that affects everything else, and grumble grumble grumble. Hope yours figures out why she's doing it soon!
