squeequegWhat the hell. That's one chapter down, six more to go, and I've had a lyrics meme compiled for some time. I can't offer anything to whoever gets the most (other than the people's ovation and fame forever), but I can say that I discovered I have a very unusual music collection.
1. A water pik, a cuisinart, and a hypoallergenic dog
2. I got them in my garden now and you’re not welcome here...COME HERE
3. And he knew what they needed. They needed doughnuts.
4. Don’t get me wet because the bandages will all come off
5. (screaming, strange talking) (Really. This is what it says on the lyrics sheet.)
6. You get me closer to God...God! (not the version you’d think...)
7. Head shaped like a pool cue and a thing for gasoline
8. Count the arms, the legs, and heads and then divide by five
9. And I always get those dangerous dreams
10. then GOD is seven
11. So what about the stock market?
12. You can try on our suede underwear if you choose
13. The only constant I am sure of is this accelerating rate of change
14. and especially the c sharp seventh
15. Fire and flight and candlelight
16. like I wanna fuck every man in sight
17. We drink and we die and continue to drink
18. But maybe everything that dies someday comes back
19. After years of waiting, nothing came
20. I don’t believe in prophecy so don’t waste any tears

And 12 is definitely King of Suede, so there's at least one Weird Al, if not two or three.
17 is the only other one I recognize, because I've got Dennis Leary's Irish Drinking Song on my playlist too. I would do this meme, except for the fact that only about 1/4 of my music has lyrics.

20. is from the totally righteous Run Lola Run soundtrack. I think it's called Believe and sung by Franka Potente, but then I think it's probably on the album like 7 times and I couldn't tell ya which one . . .
I am highly impressed by how all of your lyrics sort of blend together like a poem. neato.

See, I had had it in the computer with the case next to the printer, and both are gone. I never even got it uploaded. It doesn't seem the type of thing that Dad would borrow, either. Just check for it, please.
