2h2o posted a meme a while ago, and I'm only just now getting around to it. The general idea of the meme: you are making a mix cd to introduce yourself to someone. What's on it?
I may be breaking the rules of this a bit in two ways. First, I don't have all of these songs, so I can't measure length to be absolutely sure they would fit on one cd. Second, I'm annotating one or two songs, just to be clear why I'm putting them on. Yes, I know that defeats the purpose somewhat, but I must assuage my deep-seated need to explain. Order of songs is a little off, but I figure if I were to make this mix, I'd have leeway to rearrange them as I saw fit.
